Here I will be posting and discussing book recommendations and reviews of books I am reading.

As someone who has always had a keen interest in reading without knowing where to start or what genre of book I may like, I am interested in covering the basics and figuring it out from there.

I am aiming to read lots of non-fiction books covering a whole range of topics from science to history, philosophy to business, in order to increase my knowledge of certain topics. I believe in the pursuit of the acquisition of knowledge to know as much as possible about the world around us. I am searching for the best books across all disciplines to learn in an engaging way (this is where having a community to discuss with in the comments is useful, so we can all expand our interests beyond what we may have previously imagined).

After all, why would we not share the books that helped us to learn and grow?

I also have a curiosity around classic fiction and the common themes underlying them. There are many authors who interest me (in particular Dostoeyevsky) so I will be working my way through the works of some of the most well-known authors and discussing the similarities and differences between them, their novels and their writing styles.

My aim with this blog is to keep myself accountable in becoming more well-read, as well as building a community with whom I can engage and learn. If my ambitions are something you can relate to and think you would enjoy, then I hope you find value in my blog.
